These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sonder mobile application on iOS and Android, the Sonder backend services at sonder.oguzkurukaya.com, and all related features (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Oğuz Kurukaya, a sole proprietor based in Türkiye (“we”, “us”, “Sonder”).
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a minor or someone else, you represent that you are authorized to do so on their behalf.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sonder. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you confirm that your parent or legal guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the Service.

All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Sonder does not directly process payment cards or banking details — we receive only confirmation of your subscription status from Apple/Google via RevenueCat.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have premium access until that date. No partial refunds are issued for the unused portion unless required by your local consumer protection law.

For EU users, you also have the consumer rights described in your local law, including the 14-day right to withdraw under EU Directive 2011/83/EU; however, by starting to use a digital subscription you may waive this right (you will be told this at purchase).

You own everything you write or upload to Sonder — your journal entries, photos, AI conversations, and any other content (collectively, “Your Content”). We claim no ownership over Your Content.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules. CSAM and credible threats are reported to authorities as required by law.
When using Sonder you agree not to:
Violations may result in account suspension or termination, and we may pursue legal remedies where appropriate.
The Service includes optional AI-assisted reflection features powered by third-party large language models (currently OpenAI).
AI-generated responses are not a substitute for professional advice. They are not, and must not be relied upon as:

We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or safety of AI-generated content. Your use of AI features is at your own discretion.
Your AI conversation content is sent to OpenAI for processing. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we have opted out of OpenAI’s training data program, so your content is not used to train OpenAI models. However, OpenAI processes your content to generate responses.
Premium AI usage is subject to monthly credit limits to prevent abuse. Limits are described in the in-app paywall and may change over time with notice. Excessive automated usage that abuses the AI feature may result in temporary or permanent restriction.
The Sonder name, logo, app icon, design, source code, server software, and all original content created by us are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes during your subscription or free use.
You may not:
You retain all rights to Your Content (Section 6.1).
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the Service, without obligation to credit or compensate you.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the Service you confirm you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
You can terminate your account at any time. See our Account Deletion procedure for details.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
We will notify you when reasonably possible. For material breaches, termination may be immediate. After termination, your access to the Service ends; data retention is governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited only to the extent permitted by law, and the rest of these limits remain in force where allowed.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. For consumers resident in the EEA or UK, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply where they offer greater protection.
The competent courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Türkiye (Çağlayan/Çağlayan İstanbul Anadolu) have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to these Terms. Consumers may also bring proceedings in their country of residence under applicable consumer protection law.

Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with material changes, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.

These Terms are provided in English and Turkish. In case of conflict between language versions, the Turkish version prevails for users resident in Türkiye; the English version prevails for all other users.
